Metal Recycling

Generally, any item made 80% or more of metal may be dropped off at the scrap metal pile, excluding refrigerators, A/C units, and dehumidifiers which contain freon. Other white goods, such as ovens, stoves, washing machines, and other large appliances has a fee.

Scrap metal recycling is free, and is accepted at all town transfer stations.
